Why AVC Embraces Travel

John Mark Reynolds of the Torrey Honors Programs (which is the program that three AVC grads will enter in the fall) does an excellent job of reinforcing why AVC has made study trips a central focus of our curriculum.

Think about it

Will you ever think about the Battle of Brooklyn Heights the same way after standing here?

Will you ever think of the plight of immigrants the same way after walking around Ellis Island?

Will you ever get on a plane again, and not appreciate how far we have come after seeing the one Orville and Wilber started with?

Will classes discussing some far away war every be quite the same for you?

You are already more enlightened, already more in tune, and we are only beginning the process.
